Gladys Burleson age 83, Haleyville, AL. passed away Saturday June 6, 2015. She was a retired seamstress , member of Thornhill Church of Christ.
Her visitation will be on Monday June 8, 2015 from 6:00-9:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville, with her funeral on Tuesday June 9, 2015 at 2:00PM in the chapel, Bro. Frankie Miller officiating, burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter in law, Martha Burleson; grandson, Shane (Tanya) Burleson; great grandson, Noah Burleson and step great grandaughter Jessy Robinson; Tyler Williams who she thought of as a grandson; brother, Vernon (Gaye) Silas; sisters, Evlynn (Ellis) Thomas and Irene Silas; sister in law, Dean Silas; host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bertha Rawls Silas; husband, Alvis Burleson; son, Phillip Burleson; sisters, Beatrice (Athel) Parr and Christine (Edward) Flannigan; brothers, Uralee (Thelma) Silas and Ulas Silas.
