Gisela N. Griffin, born 6/26/1939 in Frankfurt, Germany, passed away in Huntsville, Al. on 11/20/2020.
Mrs Griffin was born into the turmoil of World War 2 in Germany, came to America at age 12, and was raised and educated in New Jersey and Florida.
She married William Alvie Griffin on 8/10/1958, and had one daughter, Karen Joy on 9/20/1962. Mrs Griffin was a foreign language teacher in both Florida and Georgia, whose career progressed to become the Foreign Language Coordinator for Dekalb County, Georgia and culminated as the Georgia State Foreign Language Coordinator.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Joy Mann; her son-in-law Marc; grandson, Daniel; granddaughter, Erica; and great-granddaughter, born to Daniel, Ava Grace.
