Mr. Girlis Hugh Serratt (better known as Scooter), age 36, of Quinton, Alabama was born December 4, 1984, and passed away on June 3, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth J. Watts.
Scooter is survived by his mother, Rebecca “Becky” (Albert) Steadman; two sisters, Ashlia (Deana) Wright; and Amanda (David) Brewer; two brothers, Lee and Andy Serratt; grandmother, Laura Watts; aunts and uncles, Cheryl (William) Nolen, Rhonda Robbins, Sherry (Johnny) Washington, and Kenneth Watts; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other dear friends and relatives.
Funeral services for Scooter will be Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. from the chapel of Bell Funeral Home-Sumiton with burial to follow at Brasfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00until 8:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home.
