Gilda Maria Stone, age 69, born June 5, 1948, passed away Jan. 7, 2018, in Tuscumbia, Alabama.
A memorial service will be today, 4 p.m., at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Stone; mother, Docia Lee Williams; and sister, Mercedes White.
Survivors include son, John Davis; daughters, Kristi Holland (Donnie Holbrook), Tanya Burnett, and Tina Jones; grandchildren, adopted daughter Heather Newton and husband, Allen, adopted son Brandon Stone and spouse, Amanda Flanagin, grandson Erric Holland, and granddaughters, Brittney Sheppard and husband, Cody, and Tessa Hall; eight great-grandchildren, Skyler and Abbey Poore, Layken and Tanner Shepperd, Levi and Noland Newton, and Javon and Terry; sisters, Vicky Kelsey and Margo Willingham; brother, Christopher Eric Wallace; many beloved nieces and nephews; and heartfelt friends.
