TUSCUMBIAÂ – The First Annual Kerry Gilbert Musicfest in Tuscumbia saw cool weather, sunny skies, lots of good music. This first of what is planned to be an annual event is designed to assist area musicians with expenses related to health issues.
This year’s event was named in honor of Kerry Gilbert, a much-loved musician, who has been diagnosed with a serious illness. Gilbert was on hand for the occasion and even appeared on stage with his band, The KGB. It is always great to see Kerry, who is fighting this illness with great courage.
