Geraldine Vandiver Mason, age 84 of Sulligent, AL passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at her residence in Sulligent, AL.
She was born May 29, 1941, in Russellville, AL. She is the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Ora Ethel Counts Vandiver and the wife of the late Bobby Gene Mason. She was a member of the Order Of Eastern Star, a member of the Church of Christ and a resident of the Malloy community.
Geraldine is survived by her sons Doug (Misty) Mason of Athens, AL, Bill Mason (Jennifer) of Vernon, AL, daughter Rhonda Mason (Corey Webb) of Vernon, AL, sister, Ruth Vandiver Credille of Muscle Shoals, AL, grandchildren, Abbey Mason (Sam Young), Andrew Mason, Ryan Coan, Ashley Bussey, and Izzy Mason.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bobby Gene Mason, and brothers Thomas and Charles Vandiver, sisters, Eloise Saint and Madeline Britnell and great grandson, Noah Coan.
Services held Sunday, February 8, 2026 at 2:00 pm with Travis Brown officiating, from Veal Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Macedonia Cemetery.
