Funeral Services for Mrs. Geraldine Nolen Headrick, age 88, of Lineville were held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Rev. Claude Bennett and Rev. David Holcombe officiating. Burial followed at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Headrick was a lifelong resident of Clay County and was one of seven girls of William and Dora Nolen. She worked at Roanoke Fashion for many years but had enjoyed life with her family after retiring. She was also a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons; Ray and Kathy Headrick, Bill and Sheila Headrick and Ralph and Melanie Headrick; a daughter, Frances and Dale Holcombe; her best friend, Gene Dewberry; son-in-law, David Willingham; 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and lots of extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; William and Dora Hunter Nolen, her husband of 58 years, Burford Headrick; two daughters, Christy Willingham and Alice Headrick; and 6 sisters.
Active pallbearers were her grandsons.
Benefield Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
