Geraldine Lawson Abney, known affectionately as “Miss Gerri” or “Gigi”, 65 of Adamsville, passed away July 28, 22 at her residence.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, who always enjoyed having her family nearby. Two of her great enjoyments in life was her coffee and gambling.
Funeral services will be Monday Aug. 1, 22 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday 1-2 pm.
She was preceded in death by her mother, June Kragh; her dad, Al Kragh; nephew, Shane Brinson and brother-in-law, Tommy Brinson.
She is survived by her daughters, Chastity Lively and Brandy Lively and wife Nancy; sons, Alan Lively and Eric Davis; her life partner, Tim Baker; grandchildren, Taylor and Tyler Abney, Lauren and Cooper Lively and Lauren and Lindsey McLaughlin; great grandchildren, Liam, Cammie, Ryder, Ruthie, Shawn, Kyla, Addilyn and Wyatt; her sister, Sandra Brinson; niece, Kasey Brinson; special cousin, Lynette Brasher; special aunt, Jeanette Anderton; several other relatives and many friends.
