Geraldine Godsey Nelson Cagle, age 88, Haleyville, AL. passed away Thursday September 3, 2020. She was a retired clerk from the Winston County Courthouse, a member of South Haleyville Church of Christ.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE ONLY: Sunday September 6, 2020 at 2:00PM Shady Grove Cemetery in Double Springs, AL., with Vance Hutton officiating.
She is survived by her sister, Helen Cagle; children, Bonnie Hill, Cathy Godsey, Ronnie (Donna) Nelson and Jerry Nelson; grandchildren, Sherie Poore, Kara Nelson, Michael Hill, John Godsey, Jennifer Waters, Nicole Nelson, Chris Godsey, Andrea Taylor and Brittney Godsey; a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Roxie Godsey; sons, Gary and Terry Nelson; husbands, Floyd Nelson and David Cagle; brothers, Horace, Hubert and RC Godsey; great grandson, Eli Poore.
