Geraldine Elizabeth Scott, 102, died Nov. 15, 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee. Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Chris Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Frank and Mary Jane Davis Hargrove; husband, Edgar Allen Scott; brothers, Cortez Hargrove and Isaac Hargrove; and sister, Corona Gough.
She is survived by her son, Gary, and his wife, Linda; grandsons, Gregory Scott and wife, Denise, Jeffrey Scott; granddaughter, Wendy` Hall and husband, Chris; great-grandsons, Barrett and Blake Hall, Chandler and Will Scott, as well as nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Scott was a member of Highland Baptist Church, Florence, where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Women’s Missionary Union. She also was a member of First Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Pallbearers will be Greg Scott, Jeff Scott, Chris Hall, Bill Gough, Jr., Jim Gough, Jim Hargrove and John McKinney.
Memorials may be made to Highland Baptist Church, Florence, or First Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
