Gerald Wayne Kelley, 78, passed away on May 27, 2018. He was born in Athens, AL on April 17, 1940.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leamon “Buck” Kelley and step-mother, Mildred Kelley and mother, Lorena Terry.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Sue Kelley; daughters, Sherrie Long and husband, Charlie, Rhonda Lauderdale and husband, David, Lori Gooch and husband, Neil; son, Chris Kelley and wife, Brenda; one sister, Carolyn Posey and husband, Kenneth; six grandchildren, Blake and Biranda Lauderdale, Cameron and Kelli Gooch and Hunter and Hayden Kelley; one nephew, Brandon Posey.
He was a member of Oneal Church of Christ.
Services will be Wednesday, May 30, 2018 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Guy McDaniel and Matt Taylor officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Sandlin Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Long, Neil Gooch, Cameron Gooch, Kenneth Posey, Blake Lauderdale and Brandon Posey. Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Kelley, Hayden Kelley and David Lauderdale.
