Gerald Wayne Herston, age 67, of Florence, went to meet his Lord and his loved ones who have passed on before him on March 30, 2018.
Gerald was an avid Alabama football fan and was retired from TVA. He genuinely loved people.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Audrey Herston; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby “Ted” and Martha Herston.
Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, William David and Jacqueline Herston, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 3, from noon until 1 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mike Crews officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
