Gerald received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Austin Peay State University. He enjoyed painting and his work in illustration and the graphic arts. He departed this life on March 9, 2017 in Guys at the age of 56 Years, 7 Months, 12 Days.
He is survived by his mother, Nellie Jarnagin of Guys; two brothers, William Glen Jarnagin and wife Tammy of Michie, TN, Virgil Dale Jarnagin and wife Cathy of Munford, TN; five nephews, Christopher Cody Jarnagin, Colton D. Jarnagin, Dale L. Jarnagin, Daniel Jarnagin, Doyld Lee Jarnagin; two nieces, Cassie and Tiffany; a host of extended family and friends.
