Gerald Newton, 70, of Anderson died Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at his residence.
Visitation will be Friday, October 30, 2015, at Elkins East Chapel from 10 AM to 12 noon. Funeral services will follow at 12 noon in the Chapel with Bro. Marty Mosley officiating. Burial will be at Grassy Cemetery.
Mr. Newton was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Movlean Newton; two brothers, Winfred and W.T. Newton.
Mr. Newton is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Amy J. Newton; two sons, Austin Newton (Tonya) and Jason Newton; two grandchildren, Ansley and Holden Newton.
Pallbearers will be Holden Newton, Billy Newton, Mike Newton, Jacob Black, Floyd Black, and Robbie Trousdale.
