Gerald Littrell – Obituary

Gerald Littrell, 74, passed away Nov. 13, 2017 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi after an extended illness. He was born May 18, 1943. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Elsie Littrell and a sister, Shirley Johnson.

He is survived by a sister, Peggy (William) Moore of Muscle Shoals; daughters, Pam (Don) Rogers of Hickory Flat, Mississippi, Gigi (Joe) Curtis of Pearl Mississippi; grandchildren, Noble, Wyatt and Travis (Staycie) Hale of Pontotoc, Mississippi, Candace (Nathan) Smith of Brandon Mississippi, Ariel (Jim) Owen of Ridgeland Mississippi; great-grandchildren, Jayda, Jace and Jaylee (grandaddy’s little squirt) Hale, Eli, Ava and Luke Smith, and James Owen III, and his best (dog) buddy, Ripley.

Gerald was a resident of Muscle Shoals where he retired after 30 years with Ford Motor Company, and bought his “little piece of heaven” on the Tennessee River where he loved to fish and acquired the nickname “Bluegill.” There will be no service but please consider adopting a pet or donating to your local animal shelter in his memory.” God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; There shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.
