Gerald Lamar Gentry, 63 of Arab, passed away Sunday March 25, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Gentry was born January 6, 1955 in Mobile to Ernest Lee Gentry and Joann Maddox Gentry. He worked in construction as a supervisor. He and the former Donna Elizabeth Chambers were married for 37 years. He enjoyed carpentry work and loved New Orleans Saint Football.
Mr. Gentry is survived by wife: Donna Gentry; his son’s and daughter-in-law: Chris Ryals and Hillary, Lucian Gentry and Jason Gentry; his daughter: Stephanie Gentry; his grandchildren: Autumn Gentry, Patrick Gentry, Connor Gentry, Chelsea Lima and Hunter Bicknell and his brother and sister-in-law: Joseph Gentry and Missy. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ernest Lee Gentry and Joann Maddox Gentry.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday March 28, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday March 27, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
