Gerald Glen Dunn , 81, of Scottsboro, AL passed away on June 04, 2025. Gerald was born in Woodville, AL and is the son of Sampson and Lois Dunn.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Whitaker Dunn; daughters, Kimberly Blackburn and Vonda Mansel; son, Jeremy Dunn (Tabitha); stepdaughters, Stacey Whitten (David) and Beverly Baker (Pat); sister,
Janie Bonds (Tommy); 14 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
Gerald is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved 4 brothers and 7 sisters.
Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Friday June 6th at the Scottsboro Funeral Home in Scottsboro, AL. and the memorial service will be at 2 pm on Friday, June 6th, 2025, at Panquin Cemetery, address 1600 Cottonville Rd. Grant, AL. Arrangements are being managed by the Scottsboro Funeral Home in

Gerald was a talented and dedicated generator mechanic, heavy equipment operator, and chicken enthusiast. He was a dedicated life-long Alabama football fan. He was a great friend to many and helping others was what he always enjoyed doing. Most importantly Gerald was a loving father, papaw, and husband. He is loved immensely by his family and friends, and he will be missed greatly.
