Funeral Service for Mr. Gerald Dean Foshee, 76, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, will be Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Alexander City, Alabama. Randy Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem-New Salem in New Site, Alabama. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Foshee passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at his residence. He was born on January 26, 1941 in New Site, Alabama to Jeanie R. Foshee and Bernie Hutcherson Foshee. He was a member of New Site United Methodist Church. He drove a truck all of his working life, owned and operated Foshee Enterprises, and retired from Nelson Brothers Inc. Mr. Foshee loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
He is survived by his children, Russell Foshee (Becky) of Killen, Sherri Hester (Danny) of Tuscumbia, Rob Foshee (Margaret) of Sheffield, and Jeremy Foshee; grandchildren, Chris Cottles (Chelsea), Cody Hester (Katie), Caleb Hester, Rusty Foshee (Candace Ivey), Austin Foshee, Cayla Clark (Dominick), Jacob Foshee, Jason Foshee, Mitchell Sparks, Alex Foshee, and Cori Sparks; great-grandchildren, MaKenlee Clark, Mia Cottles, Luke Foshee, Kenley Cottles, Sophia Clark, and Clara Hester; sisters, Barbara Blankenship (Gene) of Auburn, and Belinda Daugherty (Wayne) of Jacksons Gap; brother, Eugene Foshee (Teresa) of New Site; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bernard Foshee.
The grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
