Gerald BryantGerald Bryant, 75, of the Curry community passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Princeton Hospital.

For 24 years Gerald served the Curry community by running Bryant’s Gulf/BP service station.  He bravely served his country in the Vietnam War. He was a devoted husband and father and loved his grandkids, great grandson, and was looking forward to the birth of his 2nd great grandson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Friday, February 11, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Williams Cemetery.  Bro. Donnie Elliott will officiate.

He was preceded in death by his Mother-Alberta Alexander Bryant; his Grandparents- C.A. and Maudie Alexander; Father-Albert Thurman Bryant (Margaret); Brother-Albert Thurman Bryant Junior.

He is survived by his Loving wife-Jeannie Bryant; Daughters Misty Darty (Tim) and Amy O’Rear (Chris); Grandchildren-Alex Darty, Blake Darty (Caleigh), Britney Darty, Evan O’Rear, Bryant O’Rear and Kody Wheat; Great Grandsons-Mason Blake Darty and the soon to be born Grayson Brooks Darty; Brother-Jerry Bryant (Sue); Sisters-Hazel Smith, Nellene Shewbart (Dewight), Jennie Roberts (Paul), Debra Lay and Marie Hill; Special sister-in-law-Patsy Rutledge (Harry); Brother-in-law-Junior Franks (Carla); and a host of nieces and nephews.
