Georgie Mae Limbaugh, age 85 of Winchester, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at STRHS-Winchester. She was born October 3, 1936 in Winchester to the late Roosevelt Partin and Josephine Ritter Partin. She had been a caregiver for many years and was a member of White Oak Grove Church of God. She enjoyed crocheting, shopping, spending time with family and watching Atlanta Braves baseball. Georgie will be remembered as a loving and giving lady who always had a smile on her face. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Sherrill and Katherine Craig; brother, Lyman Partin; sons-in-law, Wallace Sweeton and Billy Henley; grandson, Shane Sweeton; father of her children, Paul Sansom; and second husband, Alton Limbaugh. She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Sweeton of Winchester, Jane Henley of Winchester and Theresa Cremeans of Smyrna; sons, Dennis (Darlene) Sansom of Akron, OH, Vernon Sansom of Winchester and Wade (Vicki) Sansom of Winchester; sister, Julie Walls of Decherd; grandchildren, Kisha Sweeton (Brad Whitmire), Hunter Sweeton, Tammy (Ron) Bolz, Nicholas Henley (Ashley Lynch), Sabrina Cremeans, Christy Henley, Misty (Arthur) Gipson, Richie (Christina) Cremeans, Bart Davis, Amy Davis, Paul (Misty) Sanders, Michelle (William) Modena, Pud Sansom, and Austin Sansom; 22 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thursday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 3 pm Friday, October 15, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Chapel.
