Georgia Lee Barrett Lance, 88, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Woodbury Nursing Center following an extended illness. She was a native of Cannon Co. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam “Did” Barrett & Elizabeth “Lizzie” Wimberly Barrett and her husband, Albert Quentin “Tadpole” Lance.
She is survived by 2 Sons: Barry (Kim) Lance of Gladville, TN. and Benny (Patricia) Lance of Woodbury; Grandchildren: Laticia (Andy) Davis, Lori Beth (Marcus) Adams, Josh Lance and Emilee Lance; Great Grandchildren: Hunter & Abbi Davis and Ace Lance Adams; Brother: Donald Ray (Jeanette) Barrett of Woodbury; Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
A member of the Wood Church of Christ, she was a retired from White Stag where she was a supervisor and a Homemaker.
Funeral Services will be 2 pm Sunday, June 14, 2015 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Nichols officiating. Pallbearers: Dwayne “Bones” Cawthon, Ralph Givens, Jimmy Duggin, Shane Gannon, Ronnie “Bubba” Martin & Nicky Martin. Interment will follow in the Riverside Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 2 pm until 8 pm, Saturday, June 13, 2015.
