Mrs. Georgia Boyd Tidmore, age 83, of Arab passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at her residence.
Georgia was born on October 26, 1935 in Madison County to Joseph E. Boyd & Flora Pritchett Boyd. She was married to the late Max Tidmore who passed on July 20, 2014, they operated Tidmore Slaughter House from 1971- 1986 & also truck farmed. She was a member of New Friendship Home Maker Club. Georgia enjoyed quilting, crocheting & spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Tidmore attended New Friendship Baptist Church.
Mrs. Tidmore is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Ronda Alldredge & Rickey; sons & daughter-in-law, Ben Tidmore, Roger Tidmore & Debbie, Darryel Timore; sister, Patsy Narrell; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph E. Boyd & Flora Pritchett Boyd; husband, Max Tidmore; sons, Neal Tidmore & Ricky Tidmore; great grandson, Eric Cody Rush; 13 brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Buddy Strickland & Bro. Jerald Adams, officiating. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Lee Tidmore, Lynn Tidmore, Frank Willis, Wendell Tidmore, Tommy Voyles, Christopher Tidmore.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
