George William “Billy” Spiller – Obituary

George William “Billy” Spiller, USAF(Ret.) , age 85 of Phil Campbell, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017.

He was born January 19, 1932 to Fannie J. and Hillard D. Spiller and was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Muscle Shoals. Mr. Spiller served in the United States Air Force during the Korean and Viet Nam wars.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from 1-2 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Phil Campbell, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. . Bro. Ronnie Marbutt and Bro. Mark Daniel will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Mr. Spiller is survived by his wife, Christine Spiller; sons, Randy (Ferda) Spiller of Colorado Springs, CO and Steve (Sharon) Spiller of Bear Creek; daughters, Debbie (Tony) McClung of Panama City Beach, FL and Peggy (Jimmy) Pierce of Tupelo, MS; sister, Jeanette (Tom) Golson of Oak Ridge, TN; grandchildren, Brad McClung, Stephanie Spiller Brown, Lance Spiller, Samantha Spiller Oden, Zach Spiller, Christie McClung, Brett Pierce, and Aaron Spiller; great-grandchildren, McKenzie Williams, Zachary Williams, Jayden Brown, and Noah Oden; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Hollis, Stanley, and Stacy Spiller.
