Mr. George Washington Clay, Jr.George Washington Clay, Jr. was the oldest child born to George and Ellen Lou Clay on June 14, 1956 in Huntsville, AL. He departed his life on February 26, 2024. George attended Johnson High School and served in the US ARMY.

Preceding him in death are his parents and only son, Courtney Robinson.

He is survived by his grandson, Jordan-Hines Robinson and two great-grandchildren, Kaiden and Courtney Hines. Two sisters, Sheila Clay (Fred) and Loretta Huggins (Mike). A niece, Shirethra Clay, great nephew, Demarcus Timmons and great-great nephew, Deuce Timmons. Also, mourning his death is his devoted significant other of 20 plus years, Martha Houston. George will be missed by many other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Mr. George Washington Clay, Jr. will be 12:00 noon, Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the Royal of Chapel Memories (4315 Oakwood Avenue NW Huntsville, AL 35810) with Pastor Billy Jones officiating.

Public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2024, and 9:00 until 12:00 noon, Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the Royal Funeral Home.
