George Robert Frick, age 79 of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at St. Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on May 20, 1943, to the late Richard William and Frances Cordelia (Branch) Frick. George served his country in the United States Air Force and Army before retiring from the United States Post Office. He then served as the Senior Adult Minister at First Baptist Church in Kissimmee, Florida where he loved spending time with his church family and taking church trips, with especially fond memories of one to Hawaii. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and playing golf. George was a devoted member of Oaklawn Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Gloria Frick. George is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Carolyn (Keith) Frick; children, George R. Frick Jr, and Carol Lynn Price; grandchildren, John Robert (Ada Mae) Frick, Katherine Lynn (Nate) Collett, Kristen Alyse Price, Joshua Caleb Price, Hannah Nicole (Salomon) Kolehmainen, and Rachel Elizabeth Price; great-grandchildren, Syrus and Logan Collett; siblings, Richard (Linda) Frick, and Kay (Norman) Ashcraft; brother-in-law, John (Connie) Keith; nephews, Wade, Bryan, and Kim Haddock; and several great nieces and nephews, cousins, and other family members. Visitation will be from 12-2 pm on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Ray Gardner officiating.
