Funeral Service for George Lewis “Papa” Coots, 85 of Falkville will be Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 3:00PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joel Coots officiating with burial in Falkville City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00PM-3:00PM at the funeral home. Mr. Coots was born April 2, 1936 in Morgan County to George Coots and Ethel Yarbrough Coots. Mr. Coots passed away Saturday, January 15, at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wife, JoAnn Coots, Brother, John Coots, and Sister, Elsie Coots Arnett. He served in the United State Army during the Vietnam War. George was a member of Journey Church. He worked for BP Amoco in Maintenance for over 25 years.

7 Grandchildren
3 Great Grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Austin Coots, Andy Johnson, Travis Sumerel, Jim Wilkins, Ray Partain, Stuart Whitney.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Coots.
