George Junior Moss, age 65, of Athens, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, October 11th, 2025, at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, Alabama. He was born on April 13th, 1960, in Limestone County, Alabama, to James and Helen Pryor Moss.
Mr. Moss is survived by his wife of 40 years, Terry Moss; daughters, Leah Nguyin and her husband Viet, and Jodie Birdsong and her husband Beau; grandchildren, Serenity Nguyin, Landon Nguyin, Braylon Birdsong, and Brantley Birdsong; and his sister, Jackie Porter and her husband Jeff.
He is preceded by his parents, James and Helen Moss. As well as his brothers, Roger Moss, Ernie Moss, Charles Moss, Danny Ray Moss, and Jerry Moss.
Mr. Moss was an avid fan of Alabama Football and found great enjoyment in mowing grass and riding on his lawnmower every chance he got.
