George Howard “Bits” Martin age 61 of Sumiton, passed away Monday June 11, 2018 at his residence.
He was Owner/Operator of M&M Wrecker Service in Sumiton. He was an avid racing fan.
Funeral services will be Wednesday June 13, 2018 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Buster Lowrimore will officiate. Burial will follow in Wells Celestial Gardens is Sumiton. Visitation is Tuesday night 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.D. and Alice Martin and his special friend, Ricky Kratz.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Diane Martin; four children, Nick Martin (Nicole), Kimberly Martin (Chris), Shanna Martin and Michael Mackay; a grandson, Houston Owens; brother, Donald Joe Martin; sisters, Brenda Yarbrough and Doris Abbott; several other relatives and many friends.
