George Franklin Johnson Sr., age 93, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021. George was born September 7, 1928. George was preceded in death by his sister Alice L. Johnson; his sister Hattie McCormick; his sister Annie Mae Newman and his brother James Roosevelt Johnson; one grandson, four great grandsons, two granddaughters, and one great granddaughter . A visitation for George will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Moss Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Avenue NW, Cullman, AL 35055. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel, 1901 2nd Avenue NW, Cullman, AL 35055 with Rev. Phillip Doss officiating. An interment will occur Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Bethel Baptist Cemetery, Battleground–Blair Community, Cullman, Alabama. Survivors are: daughters: Stella Mae Phelps, Mary Ann (James) Prestridge, Annie (Gary) McGhee, Peggy (Wayne) Murphree, sons: George Jr. (Danni) Johnson, Paul (Tiffany) Johnson, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and other family.
