George Franklin Coleman, Jr., age 65, of Florence, passed away May 3, 2019. Visitation will be Monday, May 6, from noon until 2:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Paul Holloway officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cypress Inn.
George was a professional guitarist and a painting contractor. He was a friend to everyone he met.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Maudine Coleman; and brothers, Bobby, Charles, Gerald and Buford Glover. Survivors include his children, Daren, Jeremy and Kirk Coleman; granddaughter, Kayla Guzman (Frankie); great-grandchildren, Benton Guzman and Cailen Burbank; brother, Johnny Glover; sister, Geneva Rader; nephews, Johnny, Jr., Larry, Richard and Gary Glover; and the mother of his children, Karen Minton (Doug).
