George Eugene Moore was born November 19, 1942 in Limestone County and died October 17, 2025 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.
He is survived by his only son Kevin and his wife Deana, as well as his grandchildren, Molly Bennett (Heath) and Landon Moore (Sydney). He had one great granddaughter, Ellie Bennett.
George lived in Danville for the last half of his life. There he had a step-son, Mitch Jackson, and his wife Cindy, as well as step grandchildren Lindy Burnett and Nikki Hendrix. He had two step-great grandchildren: Lainey Weaver and Briar Hendrix.
George loved to laugh and joke with whoever he was around. He liked being outside, and enjoyed gardening and taking care of his animals. He will be missed.
