George Elbert Phillips, age 84 of Jasper, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Patton Hill Cemetery. Johnny Martin will officiate.
Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his Dad-Albert P. Phillips; Mom-Cora Phillips; Brother-Clyde Phillips; Sisters-Frances Baker Cameron, Ruth Thacker and Alma Bozeman.
He is survived by his Wife-Bonnie Phillips of Jasper; Sons-George Randall Phillips of Parrish and Larry Wayne Phillips of Madison, MS; Sister-Dora Gant of Warrior; 4 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chris Bates, Jared Phillips, Josh Phillips, Nick Phillips, Noah Phillips and Andy Fernambucq.
