George Dudley Ferguson – Obituary

Rev. George Dudley Ferguson of Pulaski, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on August 6, 1928 at the age of 89 years old.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He served both the Nazarene and United Methodist Churches for over 50 years. He was Director of Recruitment for Point Loma College in San Diego, California and Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, Tennessee.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 16th from 11:00am until 1:00pm followed by the funeral service at 1:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in Pulaski with Rev. Tommy Ward officiating.
Burial will take place in Triune Cemetery in Arrington, Tennessee with Rev. Harriet Bryan and Rev. Sonnye Dixon presiding at Graveside.

He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Blankenship Ferguson, parents, George Lunn and Helen Tolliver Ferguson and sister Christine Dickey.
He is survived by his,
Son, David Ferguson of Johnson City, TN.
Son, Peter (Emily) Ferguson of College Grove, TN.
Daughter, Megan (Robert) James of Hampton Cove, AL.
Grandchildren, Jaclyn Ferguson, Alec Ferguson, Abby James, Gracie James, Will James, and Lilli Ferguson.
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Rev. George Dudley Ferguson.
