George Carver Davis II, age 51 of Huntsville passed away on June 10, 2023, at the Huntsville Hospital. He was born on October 3, 1971 in Michigan to George Carver Davis and Betty Griffin Davis. George owned Sho-Gun Barber Shop in Huntsville and was very active in martial arts, receiving a 7th degree blackbelt along with knowing multiple forms of martial arts. He was gifted in music and arts and was an excellent drawer. He loved to study the Islamic traditional and joined the Huntsville Islamic Center and was known as Baaqer Abdelmomeet. He loved to cook and be around the animals.
George is preceded in death by his parents, George and Betty Davis. He is survived by his son, Omar Davis; sisters, Erika Davis and Katherine Davis.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 3:00 PM from the Hampton Cove Funeral Home with burial in the Hampton Cove Memorial Gardens.
