George Allen Holmes Sr., 82, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home, Moulton, Ala. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Courtland Memorial Garden, Courtland, Ala. He was the widower of Martha Jean Powell Holmes.
