Genna Faye Wagner, 85, of Athens, AL passed away Wednesday October 7, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.She was born on March 13, 1941, in Alabama to Rufus Hillard Pack and Alma Lucille Mullenax Pack.
Genna is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Leon Martin, one brother: Ollis Pack and one daughter: Karen Martin.
She loved her fun trips to Tunica, watching hummingbirds, gardening, cooking, taking motorcycle rides and word search puzzles.
Genna is survived by one son: Steve Martin and wife Gail, two daughters: Teresa Welch, and Amy Martin Benton, seven grandchildren: Jacob Benton, Logan Martin, Tabitha Burnette and husband Jeremy, Misty Black and Joe Morris, Brandon Cribbs and Meghan Jones, Sasha Kratz and husband Shawn, five great grandchildren: Alex, Tristan, Caleb, Phoenix, and Atreyu.
Pallbearers will be: Shawn Kratz, Jeremy Burnette, Jacob Benton, Travis Dupree, Tim Griffin, Brandon Cribbs, and Phillip Morris.
Visitation will be Monday October 12, 2026, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday October 13, 2026, at 3 P.M. at McConnell Memorial Chapel.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
