Genevieve Maxine Bailey Barnhart lived an abundant, full life July 22, 1922, to July 15, 2020. She lived like she taught first grade and learning-disabled students, engaging, complimenting, and empathizing. She told us that you couldn’t teach children from the front of the room. You have to “get down there” with them. She loved Trinity United Methodist Church and the Sunday school class to which she and her late husband, Loren, belonged. The eldest of five girls in her family, she leaves behind a lot of precious memories with scores of relatives who have blessed us with their condolences. A memorial service will be held in a few weeks. If you would like to do something that she would love, go do a kind deed, call and give some attention to somebody you’ve been thinking about.
