Geneva Threwer Phillips – Obituary

Funeral service for Mrs. Geneva Threwer Phillips, age 87, of Fayetteville, will be conducted Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Clardy officiating. Burial will follow Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Phillips passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the Donalson Care Center.
Mrs. Phillips was a native of Madison County, AL, the daughter of the late John and Hattie Locke Threwer, a nurses aide at the Lincoln County Nursing Home and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter Patsy Gilliam of Fayetteville, son Miles S. Phillips of Flintville, sister Jimmie Martin of New Hope, AL, grandchildren Craig Gilliam, Chris Phillips and wife Shelby, Catrina Mann and husband Michael, Jason Carlton and wife Regan, Ashton Hahn and wife Samantha, great grandchildren Trenton Moody, Emma Moody, Sophia Mann, Avery Carlton, Jaycie Carlton and 2 on the way and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
