Geneva Stone Adcock Profile Photo Mrs. Geneva Stone Adcock, age 91, of Myrtle, MS passed away May 20, 2023 at her daughter’s home in Byhalia, MS where she resided the last 7 months of her life. Geneva was born on March 26, 1932 in Lafayette County, MS to AC Stone and Lena Mae Watts. She graduated from Macedonia High School. She then moved to Memphis, TN where she met her soulmate and they married in 1950. Together they traveled with the United States Marine Corps while raising 3 children. Being married to a military man, her family moved around a lot in the early years of their marriage.  Geneva was a secretary for Sears for over 20 years. When she retired, she found what she could really call home. A quaint little house in the country surrounded by 86 acres of land and trees. That’s where Geneva would enjoy her retirement years with her true love! Geneva was a smart, loving, caring and compassionate woman who adored her family including her many cats she cherished! She was a wonderful mom, grandmother and great grandmother. Geneva was a determined woman who when she set her mind to something she made it happen. There wasn’t anything she could not do. Geneva was a remarkable woman who loved to cook, sew, garden and can. She also loved to watch the incredible Dr Pol and football games. She always looked foward to her trips to Florida to thrift shop and, oh yeah, visit her sister and brother-in-law too! Geneva will be truly missed and never forgotten. She will be in our hearts forever.
Geneva is preceded in death by her husband Paul W Adcock Sr, her parents AC Stone and Lena Mae Watts and her sister Betty Lou Sneed.
Geneva is survived by her son Paul W Adcock Jr (Lola J Dickerson), daughter Anita A Baker (Stephen), son Scott Adcock (Cheryl), sister Linda Laney (Soloman) and brother James Carl Stone (Linda). She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
