Geneva Smith, age 86, of Florence, passed away December 23, 2018. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. at Spry Williams Funeral Home. The service will follow at 3 p.m. in funeral home chapel, with Brother Greg Daniel officiating. Burial will be at Gravely Springs in Florence.
Preceding her in death was her loving husband of 69 years, Hoss Smith; her parents, Obie and Martha Baskins; son-in-law, Edward Laster; and her siblings.
Survivors include her daughters Sue (James) Lindsey, Cathy Laster; sons, Gerald (Rhonda ) Smith, Wade Smith; five grandchildren and give great-grandchildren.
Charles Lindsey, Russell Laster, Luke Smith, Tyler Davenport, David McCreary, Casey Rogers will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Andy Eddins.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home, especially Mom’s friend Rose, for their loving care.
