Geneva M. Jackson, 89 of Athens, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Jackson was born December 28, 1926 in Athens, Alabama to Floyd C. and Ethel Taylor Morris.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald Jackson, and brother, William Morris.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Jimmerson (Gary); two granddaughters, Amanda Jimmerson, and Christina Jimmerson; one grandson, Matthew Jimmerson.
Mrs. Jackson was a substitute teacher with the Athens City school system.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 1:00PM at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Dusty McLemore and Bro. Rex Tucker officiating. The family will receive visitors from 11:00-12:30. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Gary Jimmerson, Matthew Jimmerson, Bryce Cox, Ray Journey, Paul Turner, and Frank Roland. Honorary pallbearers are Mrs. Jackson’s Sunday School class at Lindsay Lane Baptist Church.
