Geneva Elaine Kelley, 91, of Arab, passed away Saturday. Mrs. Kelley was a native of Madison County and a long-time resident of Arab. She was a member of Hill’s Chapel Baptist Church for many years and a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church.
Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by her parents: Henry Carl and Willard Mason Askins; husband William Andy Kelley; son James William Kelley; granddaughter Charity Shumate Riggs; and two brothers: Carl Askins and George Askins. She was a loving wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother that enjoyed the love of her family.
Survivors include two daughters: Caroline Kelley Phillips (William) and Marie Kelley Thompson (Milton); eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, eighteen great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 22nd from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Stateline Cemetery .
