Funeral services will be held on Friday November 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Shandy Dill officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday November 29, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dean is survived by her daughter, Maggie Ruth Brownfield; son, Robert (Betty) Hester; step sons, William Dean and Bob Dean; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Leroy (Sleepy) Hester and William Garland Dean; son, Roy Brooks Hester; daughters, Monnie Sue Brooks and Linda Venable; son in laws, Kenneth Brooks, Paul Venable, and Edward Brownfield; parents, Robert Bascom Judge and Maggie Lee (McLain) Judge; sister, Meta Marie Judge Weeks; and an infant brother.
