Geneva Brazier Winkles, 91, of Madison, Alabama passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.
She was the daughter of the late Arthur Brazier and the late Bessie Upton Brazier.
She is preceded in death by her parents, children’s father James Winkles, daughters; Barbara Scoggins, Judy Mitchell, and Mary Jane Rozell, sons; James K. Winkles and Larry Winkles, as well as one grandson, Timothy Melton.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Winkles, two daughters; Doris Melton and Sherry Winkles Atchley, brother Darrel Brazier, three sisters; Diane (Daniel) Moore, Barbara Pogue, and Nancy Ray, 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, as well as 5 great great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation for Mrs. Winkles held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama on Saturday, April 8, 2023, from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM with a Chapel Service scheduled to follow beginning at 1:00 PM. Mrs. Winkles will be laid to rest at Gatlin Cemetery. Bro. DJ Allen to officiate the service.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
