ability plusCOACH GENE STALLINGS IS THE GUEST SPEAKER FOR THEAbilityPlus FUINDRAISER WHERE WE ARE CELEBRATING “A NEW BEGINNING” AFTER 10 YEARS IN NORTH ALABAMA

HUNTSVILLE-AbilityPlus is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that maintains residential homes and vocational and pre-vocational training for individuals in North Alabama with intellectual disabilities. Coming to the Davidson Center for Space Exploration will be one of the most elegant and exciting events staged in Alabama. AbilityPlus will also be recognizing those who have been a positive force in bringing together Alabamians with intellectual disabilities with those who are generous contributors to our Huntsville/Madison County ap groupcommunity.  The speaker for the evening will be Coach Gene Stallings, who is legendary for coaching the St. Louis Cardinals, then later, the Alabama Crimson Tide to a National Championship, Coach Stallings is also well respected for his commitment and generosity to those in need.  “Because it’s the right thing to do!” he told a crowd in Huntsville recently.  He continues his dedication to the expansion of better health services with a deliberate focus on building hospitals, most recently in Texas and Haiti.  Tickets and Sponsorships for the event are available at http://ability-plus.org/www/celebrating-10-years/.

Several of the clients have lovingly painted pictures and are donating them to our online auction and help us with our fundraising efforts which will benefit them with future outings and activities. Join us to honor those patrons in our community who have continually contributed to our organization’s mission. The public is invited to attend the “AbilityPlus Celebrating 10 Years with a New Beginning” event and bid on these paintings by visiting the website www.ability-plus.org/AUCTION.
