Funeral services for Gene “Rudy” Bobo, 63 of Walnut are set for Friday, February 13, 2026 at 11am at Bethlehem Baptist Church with interment in The Bobo Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 5pm until service time at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Bro. Gary Porterfield will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Tate Waldon, Greg Moss, Shawn Mullins, Franky Jackson, Franks Curtis, Bubba Stewart, Robert Cruz and Curtis DeVore “Big Dude”. Born October 2, 1962 in Memphis, TN., Mr. Bobo passed from this life on February 5, 2026 at his home in Walnut. He was a self employed construction worker and of the Baptist faith. Rudy loved his family and spending time with them brought him immense joy. He enjoyed dirt track racing, fishing, shooting pool and doing dirt work. Rudy is survived by his wife of 24 years, Regina Bobo; sons, Tracy Bobo (Jessica) and Travis Bobo; daughter, Crystal Bobo; stepdaughters, Stephanie Stewart (Brandon) and Courtney Johns (Trey); 12 grandchildren, Beverly Grace Bobo, Blakley Faith Bobo, Oakleigh Clair Bobo, Destiny Jean Bobo, Hadleigh Montana Bobo, Rebecca Leigh Ann Cook (Will), Hannah Jo Taylor (Blake), Kirkland Davis Johns, Kaitlin Paige Stewart, John Houston Stewart, Landon Scott Stewart and Makenzie Lane Stewart; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Gene Autry Bobo; mother, Sue Bobo and his sister, Pamela Nanette Bobo.
