Gene Ray Bolton, age 74, of Russellville, Ala., passed away Friday, Jan. 31, 2014 at Burns Nursing Home in Russellville. He was born in Franklin County, Ala., on Monday, Sept. 11, 1939, to Onice and Elsie Bolton. He was a member of the Frankford Road Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The services will follow at 2 p.m. in chapel with Nick Barnett officiating. Burial in Franklin Memory Gardens
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Mansell Bolton; parents, Onice and Elsie Hester Bolton.
He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Randy(Terri) Bolton; grandchildren, Dakota Bolton, Andrew Bolton, Christopher Smith and Megan Smith; brother, Terry Bolton; sisters, Joyce Hall, Linda Greenhill and Bonnie Bragwell; host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
