Funeral Services for Geleen Pitzing Sears, age 87 of Cullman, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in the Chapel of Cullman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Cemetery, with Rev. Gerald Harper officiating.

Mrs. Sears was born on June 26, 1927 and passed away at Hanceville Nursing Home on Sunday, June 14, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie & Thelma Powell Pitzing; and her husband, Calvin Sears; and one brother, Charles Pitzing.
Survivors include her Son – Greg (June) Sears; 2 – Daughters – Gloria (Dickey) Miller & Gail (Wayne) Harris; Brother – Isadore (Carolyn) Pitzing; 2 – Sisters – Mary Jane Dyer & Margie Dial; 6 – Grandchildren – Bethaney Hester, Bradley Harris, Kevin Miller, Matthew Sears, Melissa Sears & Mary Rose Sears; 2 – Great-Grandchildren – Lexi Goodwin & Zander Hester; Host of Nieces & Nephews; a Special Friend – Betty Grisham.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
