SHEFFIELD – It was the 3rd Annual Geek Gathering. Seems like the crowd grows every year. Many of the people that you see walking down the street in normal everyday clothing are, at heart, geeks wanting to be free. Free from the judgemental stares of people that just don’t understand the freedom of “getting your geek on”. Pity them.
This was the weekend to shed the conformity of the world. Those aforementioned judged-upon people from the sidewalk in their seersuckers and below-the-knee suits. This weekend they got to let their hair down and got to free themselves up to the fresh air and sunshine.
