Gaythel King Prothro, age 92, of Sulligent, AL passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 11:00am from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Kingsville Cemetery. Bro. Jason Clifton to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 10:00am until 11:00am.
Gaythel was born February 21, 1927 in Lamar County to the late Marvin King and the late Annie Holloway. She attended Detroit and Byrd schools and previously worked in the sewing industry for McCoy MFG. and Reltoc.
